Worship Ministries at Zoar

Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.
(Psalm 33:3)

We want to give God the best we can in all aspects of our lives; including the way we worship through music.  We participate in a Blended Style Worship that meets on Sunday mornings at 10:00am. This service utilizes the time honored, cherished hymns of the faith along with the modern praise and worship music of today.

Our worship ministry consists of a praise team and band.

Adult Choir, Praise Team, and Handbells

The Zoar Adult Choir is a four part (SATB) choir made up of volunteers. We meet weekly at 7:40pm each Wednesday to rehearse and prepare to lead in worship. We love to make music together and love and worship our God together!

The Zoar Praise Team is a smaller group of individuals that help lead praise and worship music during worship. We meet weekly at 7:00pm each Monday to prepare and again on Sunday mornings at 8:15am. Some songs are done through the use of the iWorship Congregational Worship Tracks and others are done with live accompaniment. We'd love to have you join our fellowship and lead in worship with us!

The Handbell Choir is made up of individuals of various ages and various musical levels and abilities. We participate in leading worship on special occasions such as Easter, Homecoming, Christmas, etc. as well as playing special music at various times of the year.

Audio Visual Team

This ministry is one that is vital to church worship flow.

This team is comprised of a group of volunteers willing to sacrifice their time to help this important aspect of worship.

Their responsibilities include: running mediashout, assisting the band in sound check, controlling microphones and making sure that things are flowing smoothly from a technology standpoint in worship.

We are constantly looking for willing and able people to help with this ministry and training IS provided for those that don't have that much experience in the area and are willing to learn.
